Book Banning (Kim)

Books are very powerful and always useful. Books are always needed and used everyone has read a book before soon don’t like to read but use books to get information out of it. Others like looks because they have great stories them, something you cant stop reading and want to know what happens next! Many people LOVE to read love the stories in them and in my opinion the books are better then what they are in movies because some books they make into movies but are not as great as they were in the book, they leave out so many good things. For example the “The Hunger Games” the movie was good but it left out so many things. So books are better, I think that in their society they just were too lazy to read or just didn’t like feeling dumb which no one is. Just have to practice but they wanted the easy way out so they just burn books don’t even try! There excuse is because of fights and all that but that doesn’t even really happen, maybe only on movies but not real life, I never seen someone fight because someone else is smarter then them. Never! I don’t think this will ever happen in our society, reading and learning is a big thing here. It actually got bigger then it was before. Here the importance in a good education with out it you cant really get a good job, so I really don’t see this happening anytime soon.

Fate (Kimberly)

       I do believe in fate no one can really make there own destiny later in live your change your mind in thing you want to do. Nothing goes as you think it will because you’ll maybe see something better and as you get older your mind and things you want to do changes and its totally different from what you wanted at first. So they fate decides what can or will happen to them in there future or in the things they decide to do.  Nothing what you expect to happen, happens and that what fate decides you cant just make your own destiny in life or what happen because more you go through life more things you want to do and well yeah your mind keeps changing so your destiny changes so its nothing to what you said it would have been before when you made your destiny because it will be different that what has been said. Your fate is something that you have hopes on or what ends up happening in your life good or bad fate is strong then you yourself making your own destiny because faith will do bad to what you chose or good. It up to fate, but maybe you can make your own faith and thing can go exactly how you what may the odds be in your forever in your favor J .

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind (Kimberly)

The quote when Helena says, “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind.”  The meaning be hide this quote that Helena said is that looks do not matter what matters is the person’s personality they way they are and how they treat you! Many people fall for a girl with a beautiful face and amazing body yet she has a disgusting personality and girls that are not like that and have a nice personality and most guys go for the girl with a disgusting personality because they are good looking when there is a girl or guy that loves them and accepts them just the way they are and have a nice amazing heart yet they don’t go for those kind of girls. They want to be with a person that is beautiful or sexy and for someone they know to be like wow or be jealous or something like that and if its just a normal girl its not like that. Helena wants Demetruis To love her for how she is and how nice she is to him she would do anything just to have him and she thinks she is ugly she is insure of herself and thinks that the reason he does not love her is because she is ugly and he only looks at the outside but not the inside which is her sweet nice personality, but want he really want is money and Hermia's dad is trying to get him by giving him good and all that. so what is she trying to say is that don't look at the ways she looks but the way she is.

Right of Marriage (Kimberly)

I think family and friends shouldn’t have the right to choose whom you should love. They can suggest all they want but if I don’t like nor love them at all, I wont waist my time to be with him.  Mostly since they are just going to be with me because my family gives them money, its like they’re just using me. Which I don’t like, because they won’t care about me at all. I want to be with someone who loves me and is not doing this just for money and that I love him as well and who will care for me.

            I think society has changed a lot from back them. People use to choose whom you had to marry and you had no say in it. You were your parent’s property so you had to listen to what they say if not you would have to suffer. They would do something bad like death or something like that and now people marry the person they love and their parents are usually happy for them even if they do not like the person there son or daughter is marring. Now they can’t do something bad to them like death or to become a nun or any of that because it pretty much illegal now.
