How could you argue that the character of Napoleon compares to Adolph Hitler? Think about the fact that while he came to power across Europe many people ignored the warning signs. How does that compare to the animals on the farm? How & why did the animals ignore the negative signs with Napoleon? (Ana)

Napoleon and Hitler, although they both live in two different worlds they are more alike than anyone may think. For example both of them were the kinds of people who talked with passion and with seriousness and both exaggerate what they represent. “His hoarse, grating voice, for all the bombastic, humorless, histrionic content of his speeches, dominated audiences by dint of his tone of impassioned conviction and gift for self-dramatization.” Is a quote that was stated about Hitler in the JewishVirtualLibary on how he acted during his early years of starting out. When both Hitler and Napoleon started communicating their way of thinking no one suspected that they would turn out to be what most people would call “the bad guy”. The started out as though they were just trying to make the world a better place. Although at first they may have had that idea power over took them and they wanted more and more of it.
Since they both had followers the things they wanted did not really seem so impossible. All they had to do was to talk in a way were they made people think they were right. Both people and the animals ignored all the signs that showed that Napoleon and Hitler were getting to greedy with power. They probably were afraid that other people would not think the same as the do or that the people who did think like Napoleon and Hitler would go against them. Hitler for example had a lot of followers who got his point of view and would take violent means if someone did not as this quote on JewishVirtualLibary explains; “By November 1921 Hitler was recognized as Fuhrer of a movement which had 3,000 members, and boosted his personal power by organizing strong- arm squads to keep order at his meetings and break up those of his opponents.”
When they did see all the signs unfortunately it was too late to do anything with out violent causes being taken against them.
