The quote that’s mentioned by Captain Beatty is a little quite confusing. I think what its trying to explain is that you never know the truth and you don’t know what is coming to you in life, be prepared for whatever comes your way. The books are given the power of destroying; destroying peoples lives and or their way of living. Changing the person’s way of thinking and wanting to live. I think the society decided to ban books instead of teaching the people the way of thinking because they decided it was way easier for them to have them under control, like a robot or pet. They thought it was a easier way out instead of having to deal with changes and teaching the people how to think for their own. Personally I doubt this will end up happening in our world, because in our society we have “rights”. We have the freedom of speech, which is we have the right to speak what we feel and what we believe. Also books have been going on for quite a while now, and that’s part of our learning, we learn by reading books and information that come from books. The book Fahrenheit 451 is a fiction book, everything is made up, and so I really doubt that anything from the book will happen in our world, besides the things we have now.

Do you believe in fate? Or can people make their own destiny?

            Do I believe in fate? Yes I do at times but then there are other times when I feel that people make their own decision when they have various options to choose from. I know it doesn’t make sense but point being it all depends.

            Fate to me is when you bump into someone and you meet that person or they start to talk to you or you start to talk to them. I think it can also be being with someone. But also you chose to take that route to choose the hall or the way you walked and then you bumped into that person. So basically fate and destiny works together. For example you chose Visual Arts as your community, you met a guy that you have in all your classes, you become friend and date. You chose the class, fate brought you together you decided to talk and you decided to date. Basically my point is that fate and destiny work together.

            To what I have experienced my last relationship had fate and destiny both. I believe I met him with fate because it was random that he inboxed me on Facebook one day asking me if I went to Wyandotte and I said yes. Then he started talking to me more he told me about how a girl set him up. Later on he called my name in lunch and I met him in person. Next things you know destiny brought us together and the same destiny took us apart.

     I do agree with the statement “the course of true love never did run smooth”. The reason is because I don’t believe people have a PERFECT relationship when they are in love and for it to be true. People have to go through trouble or rough times to be with the one they love and choose to be with. For example having parents that don’t want you to date until a certain age, the couple will have to be seeing each other behind their parents backs and having to be aware everywhere they go. No matter what until you are married you will have to go threw stuff conflicts, even when married you will have couple issues like a normal husband and wife. “The course of true love never did run smooth”, having to fight just to be happy with someone is what makes a wonderful relationship <3 its what makes it better. Its what makes the relationship more valuable. Having to fight for love I think is worth it in some occasions especially when it pays off in the future. Also this might be a little of topic but I HATE and yes I know hate is a strong word but I hate when a guy goes from girl to girl and he brakes her heart, especially because I know how that feels I know how it feels to be replaced. So girls/boys don’t search for love let it come to you, don’t force love somewhere where there isn’t.

Dreams (Mayela)

         Dreams can mean a lot of things. There are myths that state when you dream of a person, they went to sleep thinking about you and all other kinds. I honestly think they are created with memories or thoughts that have run threw your mind before sleep

.         There really is no power to dreams in my opinion You can dream of anything you want, impossible things, things that might never happen again but just because you dream about them doesn’t mean it will come true. Unless it’s about a goal; for example I want to be a nurse, I think that  dream wi’ll come true because I am planning of going to college, and hopefully I  will graduate with my degree.

         Dreams can have an effect in reality. At times it hurt me knowing that I dream something and wake up to reality finding out it isn’t true. It can be difficult being able to see some romantic scenes in your dreams of something from the past and waking up to realizing, that as***le is still the same. It. tears me apart at times, but then I have to just get up from bed get in the shower trying not to think about what I dreamed and that I wish I could go back to knowing I miss him so much.

         Dreams have effected what I have done in real life. There’s times I would dream of someone being killed and I would wake up crying and start to over think I would be a b**** to everybody hating everything not knowing why, Then I would end up apologizing for acting the way I was acting. When I would dream of that special someone of us being together, waking up to being alone would make me so mad because I’m trying to forget him, and the dream brings everything back and those memories which make it harder.
