I don’t think that my family and friends have the right to
tell me whom to love because it’s my life and that’s what I get to decide. But
they do have a say in telling me what they think about him because after all
they are in my life and I care about them. But no matter what they say its not
going to stop me from loving them. They may suggest whom I should be with but
if I don’t want to be with that person I wont and they cant make me. Our
society has changed so much over this because before the parents just told
their kids they had to marry the one they had picked for them without having a
say in their own lives. And now that tradition is gone now we get to pick whom
we marry or date. My parents and friends
don’t currently play a role in who I love because I don’t really love anyone
right now. But when I do I’m sure they will be a part of it. If I do date
someone and fall in with then and my parents didn’t like him at all I would be
torn because I love both my family and my lover.
