Irony (Evelin)

What does irony mean? Irony is the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect. Its a used of sarcasm, comedy and just everyday conversation. Irony can have to sided meanings you could either take it or understand it how it is or you could just take it the wrong way. Irony can best be defined as the middle ground between what is and what is meant. Like for example umm a person walks in a house and say’s “there’s a big storm outside. But it’s actually very sunny outside. Another example: A person who claims to be a vegan and avoids meat but will eat a slice of pepperoni pizza because they are hungry. Groups or individuals in our world who burn books or would burn books are like parents, church people I think probably most of all Christianity people and Jewish people to. I think that they don’t only burn books at of nowhere they burn specific books. Yes they find the motivation in the book. The book is the bible. The bible is the reason why a lot of people are doing a lot of crazy and bad stuff. Is it that bad? I wonder why the bible is the one for people to do bad things.
