Friends and family really have no right to interfere with a person’s
love life. Why? Because the family and friends are not in the relationship. The
only two people who know what goes on are the two people who are in the
relationship. They also have no right to tell you who to love and who not to
love. If a person really falls in love, nothing will stop them from falling in
love. So, family cannot get in between happiness. Back then, the family had a huge
right to get in between and the two lovers couldn’t do anything about it
because it was mainly like a law for you father to marry you off to someone.
Now, we have real laws and also we have adjusted to the modern world where
everyone has their right to speak up and make their own decisions. I have
always listened to my mom and dad's opinion in who to love, but never did I
listen when it came to them telling me not to be with someone because I’m old
enough to make my own decisions. I would always listen, but never really made
any action when it came to “breaking up” I still stayed with the person.
